Broom Corn Fabrics is the oldest name in retail home decorating fabrics in Memphis and the Mid-South.  Incorporated under the name Bluff City Broom Corn Company, it is still owned today by the original family since opening in 1910.
           

     We have a huge selection of interior fabrics and trims in stock, from vendors such as Braemore, Waverly, P. Kaufman, Covington, Richloom, MillCreek, American Silk, and Sunbrella; as well as thousands to special order from such well known names as Robert Allen, Kravet, Duralee, Fabricut and Waverly.  Recently we have expanded our stocking lines to include fabrics from Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner, and Joel Dewberry.

     Our staff is one of the most knowledgeable in the city, with over 90 years combined experience in the fabric industry.  Each of our employees is eager to help with any decorating project, from a throw pillow, to completely dressing a bedroom, to selecting just the right fabric for recovering your sofa.

     Don’t know how to sew?  No problem!  We offer a list of professional seamstresses and upholsterers for you to contact to turn all of our wonderful fabrics into beautiful additions to your home.

     Broom Corn also carries a line of custom order furniture from Lee Industries of Newton, NC. With a variety of fabrics and finishes to choose from, any of the pieces from Lee can be custom tailored to your taste.  We also offer custom ordered bedding from Bella Notte Linens and Pine Cone Hill.  Custom order rods are also available from Michael’s Textiles.  With rod sizes ranging from 1 3/8” to 3” in diameter and dozens of finials styles and finishes to choose from, we can help you select just the right complement to your room and draperies.

     When in Memphis, you may visit us at 500 Perkins Extended and Poplar, in the heart of East Memphis.  We are open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

      We are closed Sundays and most major holidays.
